Notions of Murder
Maribelle Monahan, better known as Mibs, is a green-eyed, 22-year-old strawberry blonde. She's kind and understanding but also determined and strong-willed, never letting others pull her below her own set of standards.
Sergeant Jace Trueblood is a detective on the Havendale Police force. This tenacious, professional lawman is 6'3" with curly chestnut hair and blue eyes. He's always been able to maintain a staunch, poker-face attitude when working a homicide case. But when a murder finds him face to face with the spirited Miss Monahan, and he looks into her sparkling emerald eyes, he suddenly finds it hard to breathe.
Bernice Monahan, Mibs’ eighty-four-year-old great-aunt, is the only mother the girl has ever known. Intelligent, witty, and unwaveringly protective of her niece, Bernie may be suffering the frailties of old age, but very little gets past this sage, world-wise woman.
